What Dreams Are Made Of by Natalie Dekel, MPhil?

“I saw how dreams metamorphose from one to another. It felt as if these ‘dreamlands’ hold a living, breathing quality to them that creates continuity from one part of itself into a new part of itself. This dreamland materiality acts as one small space of ‘reality’ where a certain level of vibrations of energy enables us to communicate with each other.”

For many years I wrestled with the details of my dream vision as described in my book. I did not truly understand why it had stayed so specific in my mind that each time the memory of the experience surfaced, the details played out in the same precise emotional strength as if it was happening for the first time. Meanings of various segments of the dream vision were slowly unveiled over time, renewing mysterious communication throughout my journey.  I began recognizing the complexity of what I experienced as an essential piece in finding joy through some difficult times.  Looking back, I can see that it was an energy message keeping hope alive that life would eventually improve and revealing to my inner self that I would feel the joy I thought was missing at some point in this lifetime. I felt grateful that the overall energy of the dream vision slowly emerged as a reality during the latter part of my life, bringing me exactly what I had been craving all along. To receive such a unique demonstration of love, something I had believed was merely a young girl’s fantasy, felt almost unworldly.

As you read in the book, it certainly did work out even more magical than what could be described. A significant message from the dream taught me that I must change my energy direction before any real change comes. Consider the cartoon fox running in never-ending circles around the tree. Like a predestined ‘knowing,’ I found it amazing that the man ‘in’ my dreams and the man ‘of’ my dreams were physically out of reach during both dream occasions.  In the first dream sequence, I did know of him, but not enough that he, the natural person, would even come to mind at the time. His life energy was speaking to me in the dream as profoundly as it had in reality during our years spent together.

The second dream occasion, although different, presents more like an out-of-body encounter. This energy dream sequence at the end of the book could not be described as anything other than a ‘blissful’ love connection.  The experience was similar to the first, with the body asleep and the mind awake, although it felt more like a physical element in the energy connection. The man of my dreams was once more out of reach but very much known to me. Truly ‘unworldly, giving a different dimensional energy-body feel to the experience. I am not sure if that type of bliss is common, but I am forever grateful that it became part of my life experience.  One wonders why so many of our life experiences are challenging and difficult to explain, and dreams are no exception.  Both dream experiences spoke to my mind and body in a way that could not be denied as anything other than a mysterious message bringing love, hope, joy, and a touch of bliss to my life journey adventure.
